Q: Why did you become a nail technician?
A: I have wanted to become a Cosmetologist since I was a child. I went to Empire Beauty School and studied Cosmetology. After winning a local contest in Nail Design, I was selected to represent my beauty school in a national competition. I furthered my education by receiving certifications with hands-on training in Waxing and Skin Care. The feeling of reward and accomplishment after my job is complete is what I’ve always loved. It is gratifying when new and existing clients leave the salon smiling, relaxed and exceptionally pleased after walking in from a hard day. This industry is one where you must have the devotion to succeed and build long lasting relationships with your clients and other people. Everyone looks for a career in which they “love” and when I wake up in the morning knowing that I look forward to going to my job – I realize I have found just that.

Q: What is your favorite thing about Capristo?
A: I love the welcoming atmosphere of Capristo Salon and Wellness Spa. The salon is chic yet modern, my coworkers act as one family, and most importantly, our clients are absolutely amazing. Being able to be with people who enjoy coming to work everyday and having such a large clientele base that is loyal to our services are what makes us so unique.

Q: What is your favorite tool, product or technique?
A: Capristo Salon and Wellness Spa uses all reliable, efficient and up-to-date products. However, I found that a favorite product of mine is OPI Gel Color. It is a new product that allows your polish to stay for up to two weeks with no chipping and it also has a great color selection.

Q: What are your hobbies/activities outside of work?
A: Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, playing with my dog, going to the gym and relaxing.
